Rooftop bars in New York City are a must for visitors and locals; during summer it is a great way to catch some sun and fresh air. New York has too many awesome rooftops with panoramic views, it's hard to visit them all. We will review the best spots on our blog. Stay tuned.
One of our favorites is the 'grass' covered rooftop Le Bain in Meatpacking. The view is stunning, it overlooks the Hudson and the Highline. Unbeatable. We love to come here during the day and play around. The lounge beds are very comfy, the cocktails are amazing and the crowd is cool. Hungry? Grab a crepe at the crêperie while you're up there. Delicious.
There is a dj playing house music; he gets you totally in the mood for partying. No problem, because the club downstairs is bananas. It has a huge hot tub on the dance floor. Do we need to say more?
We can write a very long and detailed review about Le Bain but you can't go wrong with a rooftop that has waterbeds, faux grass, cocktails and mini pools. What more could you ask for?
Our conclusion; a glass of Sancerre tastes just better when you are on top of the world.
P.s. Getting past the doorman can be tough so make sure you look fabulous, baby.
