Because we're such big suckers for all the rooftops here, we obviously had to shoot on one for our blog. Instead of going to one of our regulars, we decided to go to a new one! We discovered it in a very sneaky way. We put on our poker face and went into an office building pretending that we're working there. Took the elevator all the way to the top floor and went to the amazing roof. Luckily we didn't get caught and as you can see we shot some nice pics.

Like in one of our last posts we already mentioned the horrible cold that's coming our way brrrr! BUT let's stay positive and see this as a new chapter in fashion. We can wear cute hats again that brighten up our outfits. Also, we absolutely love this whole 'over the knee socks' trend. You can basically wear them with anything short and they'll keep you warm and fabulous at the same time. Now that's something we all want to accomplish during winter time, isn't it?

WORK MODE

We can't deny it any longer. For the last couple of days a cold wind dominates Manhattan. Broadway has turned into an ocean of umbrellas. People are always in a rush and that can really cause some trouble. Everybody seems to be in desperate need of a yellow cab at the same time. Angry faces all over the place. This can only mean one thing. Autumn has arrived in New York City.

We said officially goodbye to our denim shorts and colorful summer dresses. No more daylight for them this upcoming six months. Let's not think about it too long, before we drop into a winter depression. Perhaps we will book a mini vacay to Mojito island and escape that long-ass winter. Hmm. Not a bad idea actually.

However, bad weather also has it's advantages. These are the perfect days for us to stay inside and work on our blog. Our favorite working spot at the moment is Why Not Coffee and Wine in West-Village. Highly coffee-addicted freelancers come here to work the entire day on their shiny Macbooks - hello square eyes!
We really feel at home here, it is such a good place to concentrate and it is easy to work for hours without being disturbed.

The best part is yet to come. At the end of the day this place turns into a wine bar. We always treat ourselves to a glass of Sancerre. Coffee and wine, what's there not to like?

BEHIND THE SCENES: BLONDE TIGERS X JOGHA X FITGIRLCODE

We are so excited for the results of our collaboration with Jogha and Fitgirlcode. Jogha is a new sportswear brand and we immediatley fell in love with it. Their tights are full of unique prints and colors which makes working out a lot more fun. Also, (quite important for us - girls) they designed it in a way that your legs look like they belong on the catwalk. And who doesn't want to have killer legs?

We did the shoot on the streets of SoHo, freezing our butt off in this October fall weather. But hey, can you really tell when you look at the pictures?

PEEK-A-BOO! HOME ELISE

 

Last week Elisah from the awesome website Interior Junkie came to my house and interviewed me about my apartment in Soho. She made some wonderful pictures and wrote a cute story about me; about moving to New York and living in Soho.
