We can't deny it any longer. For the last couple of days a cold wind dominates Manhattan. Broadway has turned into an ocean of umbrellas. People are always in a rush and that can really cause some trouble. Everybody seems to be in desperate need of a yellow cab at the same time. Angry faces all over the place. This can only mean one thing. Autumn has arrived in New York City.
We said officially goodbye to our denim shorts and colorful summer dresses. No more daylight for them this upcoming six months. Let's not think about it too long, before we drop into a winter depression. Perhaps we will book a mini vacay to Mojito island and escape that long-ass winter. Hmm. Not a bad idea actually.
However, bad weather also has it's advantages. These are the perfect days for us to stay inside and work on our blog. Our favorite working spot at the moment is Why Not Coffee and Wine in West-Village. Highly coffee-addicted freelancers come here to work the entire day on their shiny Macbooks - hello square eyes!
We really feel at home here, it is such a good place to concentrate and it is easy to work for hours without being disturbed.
The best part is yet to come. At the end of the day this place turns into a wine bar. We always treat ourselves to a glass of Sancerre. Coffee and wine, what's there not to like?
